Hello and welcome to the silent world
This is a page where I will tell you about my dearest hobby, diving. For about 1 year ago I realiced one of my highest dream. I tok a divers lisence OWD. I have had a dream about exploring the underwater world since I was a little girl. But dident think I was smart inough to take this lisence. But thank God I was. After I tok OWD, (Open Water Diver) I whent for AOWD, (Advanced Open Water Diver) This was a lisence that made me explore even more of the underwater world. AOWD inkluded deep water dive, boat dive, navigation dive and night dives. Well I had no serius error on the written test so before I knew it I had both my lisences in my hand. I was happy as a kid at Christmas eve.
Diving is an extreme sport that not everybody can get the chance to discover since you have to have good health an be in good shape to even get started. Diving can allso be a verry dangerous sport and you have to know what you are doing at all time. You have to take care of yourself and your buddy. The diving gear you have must be taken good care of since your life depend of it. There are some rules you have to follow all the time but I will not get into that here.
Not everybody is so lucky that they can discover the underwater world and that is sad since the world under water is complete different from the world abov. Here you will meet fish, lubster and many fun and strange creatures that you cant imaging. Let me say it as it was for me the first time. Me and my instructor was out at the last day at the AOWD and after we was finished with the test he said, now you can swim around a little on your own. So me and one another diver student was swiming along a cliff at about 7 M deep. Sudenly I discover a little fish, a fish baby that is. And it came swiming against me and then stoped becide my hand. Then it looked at me and I became speekless. This tiny little fish that I tought would swim away when a big funy thing like me came to his world. But instead opf runing away it stayed there and it started to sniffing at my hand. He let me even touch him. Oh my God what an experience that was. I felt chosen in a way that could experience this. And at that verry moment I knew that this was only the begining of what I would discover. And let me tell you right now, fishing is not that fun anymore. Instead I go fishing with my camera. Still to day many dives after that first experience I cant forget that little qute fish that came against me wishing me welcome to his world.
The unerwater world never stops to suprise me thats for sure. Hopefully I will get more photos after a while so that I can share this with you out there that cant see this mysterius world at your own. And maybe you that allready have been diving for a while will like this to. Have fun and enjoy.....
So now I will share some of this experiences with you. You will find photos both from under water and over water at this page. And I will give you som recomandations about nice places to dive here in Trondheim. In case you decide to wisit my city. Have fun.
Photo 1 shows me taken by my diving buddy Vidar. Photo 2 taken by me when I was having fun in the water. This place is called Trolla and it is few kilometers outside city limit.
This photo is allso taken by me. It shows the sun shining down from above. It is about 5M deep here.
1 photo shows Vidar under water as you can see I bet. 2 photo shows Vidar at dry land. Both photos taken by me.
Photo 1 & 2
taken by Vidar at a place called Børsa showing me. Few miles
outside Trondheim. An exelent place to dive. At 27 M deep there
is a ship wreck I can recomend you to take a look at. That wreck
sunk in a storm some years ago.
The deepest part you find at ca.40 M. Just remember that you need
AOWD to dive at this deep.
This photos are taken by my good friend Dordi. Showing a place called Ila just outside the city limit. The last photo are showing me, Vidar and Baard playing around in the water.
More photos are coming as soon as I get more of them.
This was all for this time. Hope you liked this page. And until next time... Have fun and keep on surfing. Cicilie Anette
